2009 St. Louis Brews Schedule – Official

 

This is the official monthly beer schedule for the St. Louis Brews.  This list is not a hard and fast rule, but merely a guideline to keep the club running smoothly and with some semblance of order.  If you feel the need to bring a beer not in one of the monthly styles, please do so.  The Brewmeister will make every effort to integrate it into the tasting, but don't feel hurt if it doesn't make it in.

January – Wildcard

                        Wildcard - Anything goes.  Bring those beers that either don't fit into any other category or that you just don't want to wait until the               proper category comes up.

 

February – Smoked & Wood-Aged Beers, Specialty Beers

                        18C - Belgian Tripel, 18D - Belgian Golden Strong Ale, 18E - Belgian Dark Strong Ale

                        19A - Old Ale, 19B - English Barleywine, 19C - American Barleywine

                        20 - Fruit Beer over 1.080 OG

                        21 - Spice/Herb/Vegetable Beer over 1.080 OG

            This category covers All BJCP beer styles (Categories 1-23).

            Extract must make up more than 50% of fermentables.
