Who's going to the Longshot Comp, how are you getting there?

Who's all planning on making the trek up to the Longshot Competition on June 6-8 in Chicago? How are you getting there?

I'm trying to figure out how I'M getting there.

Has anyone heard from the organizers yet about whether or not we're in as judges? Lodging confirmed? Etc?

I have sent Joe an email requesting details for the judges. Here is what I know.

The Longshot will be held June 6 and 7th at the Lisle Hilton, Lisle IL (same venue as last year). I remember that the hotel was great and the food was very good and plentiful.

As far as car pooling is concerned here is what I can gather from your posts:

Can't take passengers due to his schedule.

That's my main concern.

Dan S., As president, I know you are flooded with the common man's requests for details, freebies, celebrity guest appearances etc. I have no problem taking the lead on this and bothering those guys if you want to forward me Joe's (or whoever's) contact info.
