2008 Nationals

Everybody get their sheets back? I got mine yesterday and after the very first comment on the very first judging sheet I knew I did something very foolish. When I was getting my one entry together for Competition Joshy, I assumed I could distinguish between the unlabeled bottles in my basement. Lesson learned, I can't. I unknowingly sent a smoked porter as a brown porter. Each of the comments hinted that this beer would do much better as a smoked porter, but I guess a 21 in the wrong category isn't too bad.

Oh well,
It's good to know that I still have a few bottles of smoked porter left, even though I'm a little bummed that I'm out of brown porter.

Almost anything is possible with beer and duck tape.

Always segregate your beers, Dang! I have made that mistake before myself, but thankfully not for competition! :)
