This Sunday, July 28 at 1 pm at the MO Malt Fenton shop the first batch of Flanders Brown sour ale Donkere Geneeskunde (Dark Medicine) will be carefully transferred from the JD barrel into kegs and immediately re-filled with a fresh batch of Dark Medicine.

If you want to witness this exciting event and get a taste of this batch, please stop in.

I also plan to be pouring samples of the Russian Imperial Stout and the S-N Bigfoot Barleywine clone that were the first and second batches in this barrel.

Freshly emptied Jack Daniels Old No. 7 Tennessee whiskey and Woodford Reserve Kentucky Bourbon oak barrels (53 gal capacity) are available through Missouri Malt Supply. We coordinate shipments direct from the distillery. Makes for an excellent group brew. If you've got the time and space, we've got the barrel!
