Brewing Saturday 12/8/12

Postby StLBeer » Wed Dec 05, 2012 10:58 am

Brewing up a couple of beers on Saturday on my eBrewery. I'll be mashing in around 8am, but plan to be finished by 5pm. Two 11 gallon brews - 9 hours. Very doable.

First beer is an Wheat Ale, second is a Brown Ale.

PM if interested.

Paul

That setup is incredible

You know that whole thing about a watched pot never boiling?

I'm here to tell you that an unwatched pot will boil over!

Man, that sounds like a long day. The best I've been able to do with a double brew day is about 7 hours from mash-in to everything being put away.. I'm always so exhausted afterwards, though.

Well, there was a visitor and I was trying to troubleshoot his control panel at the same time. Not to mention the food and the beer that was consumed...

Next time I'll have a second pump and that will greatly speed things up.

Sounds like a reasonable excuse.
