Damn it, in need of some DME

Postby HarvInSTL » Wed Sep 19, 2007 3:02 pm

Well this 5-6 weeks between bulk grain buys is starting to suck ass. I ran out of DME this morning making a starter and I need to make another one so that I can have my yeast ready for Sunday.

Anyone willing to part with a 1lb of DME? Old, new, light, dark it doesn't matter.

Thanks,
Anthony

If you got a little bit of basemalt, just do a little tiny coffee maker sized batch of wort. Or get some Malto-Goya from an international market, from what I've read and heard, it's a starter in a can (basically unfermented beer).

How much do you need? I've got canned starters if you need a few pints. I'm not gonna be around tonight though.

I'd hit up Worm's Way or StlW&B for those ingredients that you need in a pinch.

Thanks to Mr Murphy I have the DME I need to make these starters.

I was going to purchase some while I was at worms way this afternoon, but at $6/lb I'd rather trade some good beer for some DME.

Speaking of which, Paul let me know your thoughts on that sixer.
