Belma Hops

Brewed with Belma hops today, I know, I should have been at the picnic. The odor coming off the boil did not match the hype, but time will tell.

Member Mike C-Z recently shared a two-hop IPA containing Belma, which was delicious and memorably different. He said Belma is great, but that brewers need to understand it's all about subtle complexity, you can't think of it as another American super-alpha, resiny, oily, kick-you-in-the-face variety.

Dale - or anyone else curious - I'll bring a bottle of my IPA to tomorrow's meeting. Used Belma and El Dorado hops, almost equal amounts of each.
Teaching that does not promote learning makes as much sense as brewing that does not promote drinking.
