Winter Warmer Yeast

Postby nukedpharmd » Thu Jan 22, 2009 10:02 pm

Going to brew a Boulevard Nutcracker ale clone this weekend. This winter warmer calls for an english ale yeast like WLP002. I only have dry yeast on hand. I have Danstar Nottingham and Windsor and also Safale s-05 and s-04. I think the nottingham or windsor is the closest but a little afraid of the windsor as I haven't used it before. Anyone have any experience with the Danstar Windsor or have advice on which one I should use?
