The St. Louis Microfest Homebrew Competition is the sponsored and
conducted by the St. Louis Brews to benefit Lift For Life.
It is a fully sanctioned AHA and BJCP event. This year, the judging will
be held on Saturday, April 27, with preliminary judging being done during the week.
Due to the overwhelming support of this competition, we will be instituting a cap of 300 entries
this year. Because of this, we encourage brewers to enter their beers early once registration begins.
The location of the main judging sessions will be at Alpha Brewing Company, located at 4324 Fyler Ave, St. Louis, MO 63116. There will
also be a preliminary judges session held on Tuesday, April 23, at Modern Brewery, located at 5231 Manchester Ave #E, St. Louis, MO 63110
Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each of the judging categories. First place winners in
each category will advance to a Best of Show round, where we will award 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in BOS.

this year. Winners will be announced on May 4 at the Microfest. Shortly thereafter,
the results will be found here.
We will be using the 2015 AHA/BJCP beer
